Trustee role - CIAN Committee member vacancies

An exciting personal development opportunity for individuals passionate about improving charity internal audit. 

 

CIAN Committee members act as both charity trustees for CIAN and are also responsible for all executive decision making. With a wide range of responsibilities across the committee - from Treasurer to Website and Social Media lead - your responsibilities on the committee can be focused around your personal development goals or existing skills. The CIAN Committee are responsible for all of CIAN's activities including the annual accounts and charity governance, event and training organisation, influencing relevant policy and guidance documents, managing CIAN's website and social media accounts, annual benchmarking survey and raising the profile of charity internal audit. 

Being a committee member gives you the opportunity to:

  • Gain governance experience as a charity trustee

  • Shape the future of charity internal audit

  • Engage with regulators and professional bodies

  • Support the sector through being a part of the planning and organisation of CIAN's networking sessions, training days and benchmarking survey

We currently have two vacancies on our CIAN Committee. We are looking for a Chair and a Treasurer.
